HOW TO
Take event planning to the next level
Still using napkin sketches to unpack event ideas? You do you. Moved on to hand-drawn floor plans? Okay. But you should know that, as an industry, we’re past the dark(er) ages. We’re now in 3D Render Land, where you can ‘experience’ the basics of your event long before designing your invitations.
What is a 3D render?
From stages and seating arrangements to equipment and lighting that hits just right, 3D renders allow you – and your clients – to preview how things will look. No “Just trust me on this”. No guesswork. It’s a full 3D, 360-degree (ha ha) virtual representation of what your event can look like.
Why do you need it?
Because some surprises aren’t sexy. Plus (and this is a big one) clients, suppliers and partners will be able to see your vision without relying on their imaginative DNA. And you? You get a virtual sandbox to experiment, play and sharpen every edge. You can test, tweak and repeat until it works. You can try ten different backdrop set-ups and switch between three seating plans — while enjoying a pastrami bagel.

EYES ON
Where diets (should) go to die
Did you know that chocolates aren’t only for eating? They’re also for experiencing.
Beyers Chocolates gets it. Their chocolate factory has different choccy adventures (or as we call them, a variety of “happy places”):
- The Chocolate Box has everything from classic faves to unexpected combos.
- The Chocolate Studio lets you watch and learn from the wizards themselves.
- The Chocolate Café is for coffee, sweets and relaxing.
And if you’re feeling extra bold and want to get your hands…um…sticky, you can sign up for a chocolate workshop.
This is something you book. Now.
BY THE WAY
Something’s brewing at 360…again
New space. New vibe. Same game-changing energy.
We’re moving and, honestly, Office 112-114 has never looked this good. We’re talking next-level design, bold colours, killer furniture and other cool stuff.
But that’s all you’re getting for now.
Stay tuned – you’re going to want to see this as it evolves.
